Napoleon cake

NAPOLEON CAKE WITH PHYLLO DOUGH by Bonnie Ortiz Insta

 

Ingredients:

 

-1 pkg phyllo dough-1 cup melted butter-2 tsp cinnamon sugar -1/3 cup sliced almonds-1 pkg vanilla instant pudding- made according to package directions -1 quart heavy whipping cream -1 cup powdered sugar- plus more for dusting

 

Instructions:

 

1. Set Oven at 400 degrees

2. Line 3 sheet pans with parchment

3. Cut Phyllo Dough into long strips

4. Put on three sheet pans lined with parchment paper – bunch it up

5. Melt Butter

6. Drizzle Butter over strips of phyllo

7. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture over all

8. Sprinkle Sliced almonds on top

9. Bake in Oven at 400 til golden brown 7-10 minutes (closer to 7) WATCH IT!

10. Make packet instant Vanilla pudding

11. Cool it

12. Make whip cream

13. Mix Cooled Pudding with whip cream

14. Spread whip cream on top of the cooled baked phyllodough

15. Put second layer of Phyllo dough strips on top

16. Make layers, next spread more whip cream pudding mixture on top of second phyllo  baked phyllo strips

17. Repeat

18. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar
