Baked Boursin Pasta
2 pkg Boursin cheese, garlic and herb
6-7 slices bacon, cooked
1 lb cavatappi pasta
1 pint cherry tomatoes
1 bunch asparagus, chopped
1/2 tsp roasted garlic and herb seasoning (Weber) + more to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Olive oil
1/4 cup heavy cream
Basil to garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375. Boil pasta according to package directions. To a large casserole dish, place both Boursin cheeses in center of dish. Add in the tomatoes and asparagus, Surrounding the cheeses. Season with the roasted garlic and herb seasoning and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 40-45 mins or until cheese is browned and tomatoes have blistered. Stir the cheeses into the vegetables, pressing and popping the tomatoes so they release their juices. Stir in heavy cream. Add in cooked pasta and mix well to make sure each noodle is coated. Add in Parmesan and bacon, stir. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve and garnish with fresh basil.
